Fiber One Pop Tarts!!!

I am officially obsessed with Fiber One Pop Tarts. They have all the deliciousness of a regular pop tart, but with the added fiber so they keep me full!! I found mine at Target for less than 2 bucks for a box of 6.
I have been REALLY trying to run more. I’ve been doing a 5 minute warm-up then alternating one minute of running with 1 ½ minutes of walking. My endurance seems to be up. My ultimate dream would be to run for 30 minutes without stopping. I know it will take a while but I think I can do it!!!
Exercise for March 17:

Surprise!!!

So the last few days have been kind of hectic. My mom was down visiting and our fun girls day shopping trip turned out not so fun when she nearly passed out in the mall and had to be taken to the E.R. Turns out she has a bad case of pneumonia :( So needless to say the last two days I haven't had any time to exercise. On top of that I have been eating moderately bad (something about being in a hospital just makes you feel like it is okay, no make that expected, to eat a greasy cheeseburger). So I was DREADING getting on the scale today and to my surprise...minus 3 pounds!?!? What???
I think what happened was all the work outs I did last week FINALLY caught up to me. I had been working out pretty hard and seeing NO results on the scale. And now after a couple days off my body has finally caught up...it was one of the best surprises ever :)
Not to play with fire I am getting my butt back in the gym today...Mom is out of hospital and I have a new People magazine to read on the bike...life is good...

Paninis!

I am obsessed with paninis. They magically turn boring old sandwiches into delicious, enticing works of art (okay maybe a bit dramatic but hey i love them!) There are two kinds right now I can't get enough of.
Panini #1: Grilled veggie panini
Ingredients: Two slices bread (my favorite is Trader Joe's whole wheat sourdough), red, green and yellow bellpeppers, onions, squash, goat cheese (or regular cheese) and balsamic. Stick in panini maker (or Foreman Grill) and enjoy! (about 6 points)
Panini #2: Turkey meatball panini
Ingredients: Two slices bread, green bellpeppers, lowfat cheese, onions, turkey meatballs and spaghetti sauce. (about 8 points)

ANNOYING

Wanna know what annoys me? People who talk during movies, spam (junk email, not the canned meat, although I'm really not a fan of that either), and naturally waking up early on a weekend. Oh and also fitness magaizines that have an article EVERY month about how you can drop 35 pounds a year just by cutting down on soda (sooo basically the rest of us who don't drink soda are screwed?) But the thing I hate most of all is working my BUTT off at exercising and eating healthy and not seeing any results.
Yesterday I was feeling super motivated. In the morning we took our pup Trigger for an hour walk. I was feeling great so then I went to the gym and ran for 10 minutes, did elliptical for 20, and bike for 30. And I'm talking really working it, as in sweat dripping, arms pumping. Then later in the day we took Trigger on another 1 1/2 hr walk. Besides that I ate SUPER HEALTHY. Lunch was a grilled veggie panini and some pineapple, snacks were a string cheese and apple and dinner was black beans, squash, and a cheese quesadilla. So imagine my pissoffedness (yes i just made up a word) when I got on the scale this morning and I was the EXACT same. Now I know there are a million logical things I'm not taking into account-water weight, that much exercise taking a couple days to register, etc. but frankly I DON'T CARE. MOVE SCALE MOVE!!! You are being ANNOYING!
